Mountaneering, mountain biking, hiking for leisure or extensive trekking, canyoning, paragliding or climbing: everything mountains offer as sports arenas can be enjoyed in Gaschurn-Partenen. For those interested in culture, a visit to the first Austrian tourism museum and the Montafon summer concerts are highly recommended.

The first trans-border regional-card in the Alps enables its holders unrestricted use of lifts, funicular railways, public swimming pools and much more in Montafon and the Paznaun valley.

NEW: scenery path Gaschurn-Partenen-Galtür
The new scenery path ãOn natureÕs trailÓ from Gaschurn-Partenen to GaltŸr via the Zeinisjoch was completed in the fall of 2005. Upon request we will send you the brochure with directions free of charge. In accompaniment to the path a book containing a lot of pictures and information about history, culture and nature surrounding the path was published. You can easily order the book for EUR 21,– (plus shipping costs) from us.

Natura 2000 - Verwall
Preserve beauty: The Verwall region was recommended as a Natura 2000-nature reserve by the EU bird protection guidelines. Especially noteworthy is the Wiegensee, a unique marshland reservoir.

Europatreppe
What was once used as a supply path for the construction of the big artificial reservoirs in the Silvretta region, is nowadays a health and fitness center par excellence with a total of 4000 steps, 700 m of difference in altitude and a maximum gradient of 40 degrees.

Reimbursement of salvage costs
Upon payment of a sponsor fee of 18 Euro, the Austrian mountain rescue service offers a salvage costs reimbursement insurance for your whole family (including children of up to 18 years). We happily send you postal money orders slips. You can also pay the fee on location. The credit slip also functions as your insurance policy.
